 *Amount of microbial deposits inconsistent with diseases severity

  * circumpubertal onset diseases
  * localized first molar or  incisor diseases with proximal attachment loss on at least 2 permanent teeth, one of which is a first molar
  * robust serum antibody response to infecting agents
 B. Generalized
    * usually affecting person under 30 years of age (however may be older)
    * generalized proximal attachment loss affecting at least 3 teeth other than first molar and incisor
   * pronounced episodic nature of periodontal destruction
